I am an ESL online teacher (I teach Korean business people) living in a large 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a balcony overlooking a garden and a quiet residential cul-de-sac. The room available is spacious, and bright with a private bathroom.
The 5 floor building is located in a friendly and safe neighborhood with lots of tree lined streets and parks, close to multiple schools and universities, good access to freeways and major arteries with quick access to city centre, a large amount of parking nearby, all day to day needs are within a few minutes walk including grocery and specialty food stores, restaurants, shops, nightlife, rapid transit and frequent bus lines.
This large room for 1 student has hardwood floors, two big windows overlooking a quiet, landscaped yard with lots of big green shady trees. It has a double bed, a large desk ,a credenza for storage, and a large closet with lots of shelving.
Meals are not included but you are welcome to share the kitchen. You can use the laundromat in the building which is $2.25 for a wash.
